Director Health Economics & Outcomes Research, Region Europe

Department: Market Access & Reimbursement
Location: Incyte Biosciences International Sŕrl - Morges

Summary

The main objective of this position is to develop appropriate health economic and outcomes research evidence to characterize INCYTE products value at launch and throughout their life cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Initial focus will be on the upcoming launches including pemigatinib and tafasitamab but also earlier products in the pipeline.

  • Collaborate efficiently with Market Access lead, Brand team, Medical Affairs, regulatory in developing the product Access and Pricing strategy

  • In coordination with the Brand Access leads, Brand team and country teams, develop and execute projects to capture appropriately the value of INCYTE products so that it can be reviewed appropriately by key HTA agencies in their assessment e.g. SLR, ITC, Cost effectiveness Analysis, Real Word Evidence projects, PRO, etc

  • Working with the global and local teams to ensure that the right data and information are available to build the local Pricing and Reimbursement dossiers (e.g. GBA).

  • Support Policy monitoring for instance documenting what are the impactful changes in key agencies assessment rules and/or develop value communication platform for non HEOR expert stakeholders e.g. policy makers, media etc…

  • Develop an expert perspective on what are the key HTA drivers for the key HTA agencies (e.g. NICE, IqWIG, GBA, HAS…) to support discussion with Clinical development colleagues

  • Ensure compliance with rules and regulations applicable to HEOR and Medical Affairs activities in Europe.

  • Contribute positively to a strong culture of business integrity and ethics.

  • Act within compliance and legal requirements as well as within company guidelines.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years experience within the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Strong scientific background enabling the assessment of trial design and clinical data impact on payer strategies.

  • Team player to effectively liaise with Market Access teams and create efficient working collaboration and alignment with the other functions in a cross-cultural work environment.

  • Experience in the area of hemato-oncology preferred. Experience in dermatology, inflammation is a plus

  • Ability to travel and professionally engage with clinicians, payers, and other external stakeholders.

  • Have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex or technical content in a convincing way to non-technical audiences.

  • Demonstrated track record of driving projects from ideation to completion in matrix organizations

  • Executive presence to ensure professional and effective representation of INCYTE externally

  • Language: fluent in English, any other European language is a plus.
